On March 8, 2011, TOA filed a lawsuit in the Shenzhen, Guangdong district court against Qili Electronic, which was manufacturing and selling counterfeit ER-1000 Personal PA System, primarily in China; the lawsuit sought suspension of acts of design rights infringement. On May 8, 2012, the district court recognized TOA's assertions, and issued a judgment ordering Qili Electronic to immediately suspend production, sale, and licensing of the infringing products. Qili Electronic will not appeal the decision, which has thus become final.
Going forward, TOA Group will continue to value intellectual property rights as critical assets, taking legal and other appropriate measures against the production and sale of counterfeit products in order to ensure the safety and peace of mind of our customers.
