The paging microphone shall have an adjustable unidirectional gooseneck with three minutes of
CD-quality digital storage. The unit shall include a built-in monitor speaker and be usable as a
conventional paging microphone with the additional ability to record and playback messages or
tones. It shall also be possible to transfer audio files (Wave Format, 44.1k Hz sampling
frequency, 16-bit PCM (monaural)) via USB. A rehearsal function shall allow for pre-recording
and auditioning messages before broadcasting. Features shall include individual pre and post-
announcement chime tones, adjustable broadcast delay time (0, 2 and 4 seconds), compression
circuitry to prevent distortion and adjustable mic, speaker and chime volume. The audio output
shall be line level (Line output: 0 dBV, 600 ohms, balanced, phone jack, terminal block type
connector). A Busy output terminal (Contact capacity: 30 VDC/0.5 A, terminal block type
connector) shall activate during message playback or microphone activation. The Talk key shall
have selectable Press-to-Talk and Latch activation modes. A separate external microphone input
(–37 dBV, 2.2k ohms, unbalanced, mini jack) terminal shall allow the connection of an optional
headset microphone. Specifications shall include frequency response of 50 - 20k Hz ± 3 dB (1k
Hz) and distortion of under 1% (1k Hz, rated output). LED indicators shall include USB, REC,
MONITOR, PLAY and TALK. Power source shall be derived from an external 24 VDC/200mA
power supply or from an optional AC adapter. Power consumption shall be 5 W. Finish shall be
silver ABS resin. Dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 4.8“ x 1.92“ x 7.09“ (122 x 48.8 x 180 mm) and
weight shall be 1.57 lbs. (710 g).

The digital message repeater microphone shall be TOA model PM-20EV.
The AC power supply shall be TOA model AD-246.
The headset microphone shall be TOA model WH-4000H.
